Hi, I’m Melanie! I’m a recent graduate in Marine and Antarctic Science and Ecology, and after finishing my studies, I started Melua Studio as a creative outlet alongside my love for making.

The name Melua comes from a blend of my name, Melanie, and my dog Lua—my little best friend.

Melua Studio is a collection of handmade lifestyle and self-care pieces designed to bring a little beauty and calm into everyday life. I create everything from soft accessories like scrunchies, cosmetic bags, tote bags, pouches and sleeves, through to small-batch body and bath products made with simple, nourishing ingredients.

Each piece is made with care, love and attention to detail. At its heart, Melua Studio is about thoughtful, functional, and beautiful things that feel good to use and easy to love.
